Successfully made it to halfway of pregnancy, how was it on the 21st week?

Twenty-one weeks! How time flies since the last time I wrote about my pregnancy. Yet now? Pregnancy calculator says, I am already in the 55%, half way and was so happy we made it!

How am I now?

The last time I posted, I mentioned cramps. Sad to say, it is starting to be a normal thing that even my fingers get numb these days. My work involves a lot of typing on those keyboards and since yesterday I easily got tired of the whole arms to be exact. Thankfully, my appointment with my OB-GYNE wasn't cancelled yesterday. Supposedly it was last February 06, but due to other commitments', emergency operations it was rescheduled twice. Might some of you may wonder why it took that long?

Well my OB is only scheduled twice a week as she works only part time in the clinic. Originally she was working in one of the big hospitals here in NCR. Yet, I don't want to transfer to another clinic or hospital as it was so convenient to me. Just a five minutes walk from my office. Aside from that, you can pay online. No need to pay in cash.

It was just these stairs again as the rooms clinic was on the second floor.

The husband and I were glad to know that our baby was fine and healthy and energetic 😆 . However, during the ultrasound it was found out that those tiny feet were situated first rather than the head. Yet, the Doctor said, I shouldn't worry too much as there is still enough time for the baby to move. Hoping so as it was so hard to recover via Caesarean section.

My prenatal booklet. I finally remembered to ask about it as I need to schedule a check up in my husband's hometown. Where I am planning to deliver a baby.

Before I thought this is only for oldies yet here I am now. 🤣 Taking a capsule per day as Doctors advise for my cramps and numbness of those fingers. This should be for a month and I hope it will work.

For calcium! As I felt my baby is starting to share the nutrients in my body. I always felt tired. So as of now, I am taking four vitamins everyday which I decided to have every night. This is to ensure none will be skipped. Challenge was not easy to swallow three capsules 😆.

This was something new to me.

Yet, I have no choice as I am obliged to not only for my baby but for myself.

With the growing belly and weight gained, my officemate even noticed my legs were thicker 😂; I badly needed those supplements.

Those walks that didn't even make me sweat before now made my feet ache, my knees wobble and even caught my breath.

At this time, I can't help but to wonder how my mother made it? She was already forty-two when she got pregnant with our youngest. During those times she is still lifting heavy baskets full of her merchandise. Not only that but walk kilometers per day to have sales. She was still working so hard physically as aside from the baby in her tummy she needed to feed the seven of us. Her strength was truly amazing or I would rather say, mothers love.

So every time I am not feeling well the pregnancy journey wasn't easy especially when alone the thought of how my Mom made it was my strength. I kept on reminding myself how lucky I am to experience this and how supportive my husband was. He may not be here physically but he always made sure to support me financially. Understanding my tantrums and outburst sometimes too 😂.

How about you ladies? Any thoughts about your experience during your pregnancy? Would highly appreciate it.
