Hello Friends, and thank you for your visit!
ππ»ββοΈβΊοΈππ»ββοΈ
It is #wednesdaywalk #35 of 2026, and for this week I went over to the "Hans and Pat Sutter Wildlife Refuge and Park". I thought I might have seen more, maybe on the other side? A future #wednesdaywalk !
But first I want to thank @tattoodjay for this community - #wednesdaywalk ,
"Thank You"!

This is the view from the first parking area at the deck where you can take bird photos,

You can also see across the water (barely) from here. I took a photo, but you could almost see nothing - and I walked down there anyway!
This is the path that leads down to the water, Channel actually and the same one that flows past my house,

This is a look South towards where I live,

And a few photos across the channel at "Texas A&M University "

This Pelican cruised by looking for dinner,

This is from down by the water looking back at the path I walked down to get to the water,

And the path back around the backside. It actually goes a bit further and back to the water and next parking area - but I took the left back to where I parked.

Walking along the path I passed this Mexican palo verde (Parkinsonia aculeata) or Jerusalem thorn blooming,

And the "Medicine Wheel". The work of a friend of mine that has since passed - "Larry Running Turtle - Salazar",
And a plaque with some history,

And finally heading back to the car I passed these century plants - Agave americana. Dangerously Large!

Then I drove home and got out of the heat we are having 100Β°F / 37.778Β°C days - "the sunblock dries up fast"!
And that was my #wednesdaywalk this week,
I want to thank you again for your visit - "Stay Blessed, Safe, and Happy"!
Please Take Care of Your Loved Ones, "All - Ways"
