Wednesday Walk: "My Bike Ride"!

Hello Friends, and thank you for your visit!

It is #wednesdaywalk #10 of 2026, today we hit 95°F/ 35°C - Spring is here and the year is moving on!
But first, as always I want to thank @tattoodjay for this community - Congrats to you!

And "Thank You" for this community!

For this weeks #wednesdaywalk I rode "Brutus" around again,

And got in a few miles!
First I rode over to the Park. And first thing I saw they are still Dredging (?) over on Padre Island,

I got lucky and caught the Sun over the Breeding Pond,

And the Pond itself, it's about half full,

These two guys were under the Picnic table cooling off,

(*and making noise!)

This is a look down the Shoreline. The tides have returned and brought Seagrass back with them as well,

A view of the Fishing Pier. There was a few people out there, though I do not think they were catching much,

When I was walking back to my bike this guy flew right by,

Enlarged - Yes indeed a "Snow Egret"!

I left and rode more to the center of the Island here and came across a field of Sunflowers blooming.
This is towards the East,

And the West,

(*a long time ago I worked in that building)

This is a single Sunflower that I caught alone,

And I also saw this "Firewheel" with a Bee!

Here it changed position,

And (enlarged) there is another insect there watching the Bee,

Well after that, I was about a mile away from the house and decided to go ahead and ride home.
And that was my #wednesdaywalk !
