Wednesday Walk 04.30.25, I found a even younger "Tri Colored Heron"!
Hello Friends, and Welcome Back, and thank you for your visit!
ππ»ββοΈβΊοΈππ»ββοΈ
This is #wednesdaywalk #15 of 2025, and for this week I took a bike ride over to the Park - actually not in the Park but the stream that runs next to the entrance road.
I was riding along and this guy caught my eye,
Another "Tri Colored Heron"! Unbelievable as you really do not see them much here.
This one is much younger than the one I saw last week, maybe half sized.
Now he sees me,
Here he is looking around.. Definitely looking for a place to hide for awhile,
Then it looked like it was going to go behind the bush,
But he took off! I didn't catch this one in time (blurry mess worse than last week) and so, above the water treatment facility,
And gone!
So I left there and headed towards the Christian Gateway Center. They have a lot of different flowering bushes in front. But the Oleander was blooming the best, so I snapped a few photos to share. This is the whole bush,
This is one of the branches,
And a few of the Flowers,
After that I called it a day and headed home, and that was it for this last Wednesday of April 2025!
I want to thank you again for your visit and wish you a Very Blessed, Happy, and Safe Week!

We can see this memory blurry, π but yours isn't. It's still very close... oh, a tricolored heron, how cool.
Bike rides in nature are very healthy, of course they are.
