My alive and thriving Trip to Pita Island!

Happy #aliveandthriving Sunday afternoon / evening to you, and thank you for your visit!

So this afternoon I decided to drive over to Pita Island - about 10 minutes away, and look around. The first thing I saw was some people riding around in their boat in the Canal that separates Pita from Padre Island,

This is a closer view so you can see how they live over there,

And a look down the Channel South,

This is that bridge that is always in the background of photos from the Park by my house,

Yeah... It can be fun coming down the bridge and turning off here if there is lots of traffic behind you...

Here under the Channel bridge someone is fishing,

And some people on the far side as well leading into Padre Island,

The Padre Island sign and Palm Trees leading into (or onto the Island),

Here across Pita Island is a building I worked in, about 8 years ago,

Walking around on the shore I caught this Seagull standing on one leg,

And a Heron in the Channel,

And a few views of it out in the Channel with some homes in the background,

After that I headed home, it was still pretty warm out!
And that was a few photos from my #aliveandthriving trip over to Pita Island!

How interesting.
Pita Island looks like a lovely place to visit.
I imagine that the boat ride on the canal must be a very relaxing experience.
Plus, having an iconic bridge close to home is great for enjoying those spectacular views.
I hope you had a pleasant afternoon exploring the area.
