My Alive and Thriving Thursday afternoon bike ride!
Happy #aliveandthriving Thursday evening to you and thank you for your visit!
Yesterday is my seven year anniversary on the block chain! "The time has flown by"!
A very big "Thank You" to all who supported me along the way, "Thank You"!
And so, as I am getting closer to the end of the year I am trying to get in bike miles - and take photos of things I find interesting along the way.
Today I rode over to the Park and on the way I saw these blooming,
Google calls them "White Leadtree", which sounds right to me. There was some of these at the old house, I will check as the wind made it difficult to get a clear photo!
Next I saw a Snowy Egret with a Tri-Colored Heron in the stream. As I got closer the Egret took off - I got lucky to get this photo!
The Heron did not leave and I got a few photos. Here it's eyeballing me,
And then turned around and walked upstream,
Meanwhile overhead we had the "X" Contrails that they seem to like to make these days...
Leaving there I saw many of these blooming in the neighborhood, which in the future I will look for some better examples - because of the wind,
This is a "Golden Raintree or Palo Verde", Google could not be sure.
Then I rode down the Channel and at first saw nothing interesting, then I looked up,
That was pretty awesome! This is an enlarged photo so you can see what I saw,
Then I headed home, and got in a few more miles!

Your biking adventures are quite fascinating. It's cool you always see wild birds at the harbor. Interesting birds that seem to know how to act around humans. I imagine how lovely it is around with lots of wildflowers too. Sky watch can be mesmerizing. Have an enjoyable weekend!
