An Alive and Thriving Tuesday!

Happy #aliveandthriving Tuesday evening to you, and thank you for your visit!

So to start the day we had this Sunrise in the East, looks like rain - and it did about an hour later, for about an hour.

By the afternoon things had dried up and I went for a bike ride on "Brutus" around the area.

I rode over to the Park first. This is a view from the first parking area across the Channel,

And, see those three dots way out there?

Yes, there is some guys out there fishing in the Channel. You can also see that the water level is up, but not so much!

I rode over to the back area and this Seagull flew in front of me,

And landed on this Pole,

There was I think 2 people fishing on the Pier,

Probably because it was pretty warm today 93F+ / 33.88C+ and really fish don't bite in that kind of weather!

This is a view towards Pita / Padre Island this afternoon,

And the Sun - between the Clouds,

Well not much going on so I rode down the Channel about a mile. This is the afternoon Sun from down there,

And then I rode another half mile down the Channel and came out under the bridge. Here is a photo across the Channel down there, and there was also a few people fishing,

This is also the turn-around under the bridge, I wanted to mention that because of the sign!

This is another view across the Channel the other way and you can see were a little closer to the bridge that goes to Pita and then Padre Island,

This is a view along the feeder road to the highway. This is probably the least exciting place on the whole island. The water just settles here and does not move.

And finally before leaving, this Pelican zoomed by,

And headed across the Channel,

And that was my #aliveandthriving Tuesday (afternoon)!
