Happy weekend or happy laundry day 🧺 😁 [W.E 268]

Hello everyone!!!

It's weekend here and for most it's laundry day. Okay if it's not for you but for me Sunday mean laundry day. It doesn't mean I spoil my Sunday in laundry but I've time to refreshing too because laundry just take my two to three three hour's.

How I wash my clothes???

I gathered all the clothes to wash at one place where I'll wash these. I start the washing machine by adding detergent and soap into the washing machine and put some clothes which easily machine can hold it self.

When machine stop after it's time, i remove the clothes from it and add other clothes into the machine. Now I've to extract all the detergent if there's any kind of stain on the clothes I've to use washing brush on clothes and wash them with water. And after washing all the clothes, i need to dry these wet clothes under sun or in air as I don't use drier or spinner to dry the clothes. If I use spinner still i need to hang on rope for some time.

When all the clothes are dried, I pick them all and fold each cloth. After folding the clothes I placed them on their specific cabinet or drawer as everyone has separate cabinet for clothes in wardrobe.

It took almost two hours to wash cloth and then 30 minutes to fold them and keep them on their places. Being a lady I've to do cleaning and cooking on regular basis so I need to do it on weekends because someone there who help me to do cleaning of home.

Why I always prefer to do laundry on Sunday??

Laundry is not same for everyone, as some people just pack the dirty clothes in a bag and go to laundry room or laundromat where they just placed the clothes in machine and all the work done by machine and they enjoyed their coffee or snacks in a corner. While some do it with hands and some do it with both machine and hands.

I don't have auto washing machine but I have a washing machine in home also have a spinner too but mostly I used spinner in winters to dry heavy clothes like jackets or other stuff. I do more task with hands so it's heavy work for me to do.

As on weekend everyone is at home and I've my other family members too at home who can help me to do other home chores with me so I prefer to do laundry at weekend, i think within a year it's only one or two times if I wash clothes other then weekend because of emergency on weekends otherwise I do it on weekends.

I don't have any laundry day because I try to wash 1/2 cloths in each day while bathing. Sunday is a working day in my country and so there is no chance to consider as laundry day in my country.

It's a good option to wash clothes when bathing.... So which day isn't a working day in Bangladesh???

Laundry is a chore no matter where we are or how we do it! It's nice to be able to hang yours outdoors. I don't have an area to do that in.
