Your encounters with her in Paris during the pandemic sound especially meaningful. That period was so restrictive for most people, so having those moments of connection and creativity must have felt like a rare gift. It’s interesting how she embodies both freedom (through dance and travel) and resilience (continuing to create even in challenging times).

As a social worker of the city of Paris during the pandemic, I had very few restictions as I needed to visit a lot of people at home. During that chaotic period, I was very lucky as I could enjoy all public places usually crowded for myself only. It was mandatory for me to continue to do art as much as I could.
Julia lives like in a dream for many of my friends. I always thankful to meet her and spend some time together taking pictures and chatting about everything.
