Sketchbook Series 05 | Need Photography Tips!!!

Another thing I want t talk about is how much I struggle with photographing my art. Sometimes they come out good, other times it's just meh!!! You can see the glaring difference between the picture above and the ones below. I love the colour up there but for some reason, I couldn't capture that exact one anymore.

What might be the problem?

Distortions and Relections ?Insufficient or harsh lighting? I know lots of factors can distort colors and textures, making it difficult to accurately represent my work the way I want. I would have Opted for more natural light but the current position of my table is comfortable enough for me, maybe I should get a different light. I'll have to fix this as soon as I can and also see if I can get some tips from YouTube.

Do you have any tips for me? What would you suggest?

You should try going outside, lay your drawing on the grass, then taking a picture of it. The lighting from the sun makes the drawing a lot more.. vibrant.. If you know what I mean. (I don't know what word to use.. 😅) I hope my advice helps! Beautiful art @leeendah!
