Liketu Family! My First Post Here

Hi everyone,
This is actually my first post here on Liketu and I just wanted to say a big hello to the community. I’ve been seeing so many beautiful and creative posts from people here, so I finally decided to join in and share mine too.

My name is @lectureme, and I’m not someone who loves taking pictures, but whenever I am outdoors or around nature, especially when I’m travelling I take multiple pictures. I believe there’s so much beauty in the simple things we sometimes overlook,old buildings, trees, everyday people, culture, and how life looks away from the busy cities.

So recently, I had the chance to visit a village in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. I don’t know why, but I always enjoy village trips. They’re peaceful, quiet, and everything just feels different, like you’re closer to real life. No noise, no rush. Just fresh air, kind people, and beautiful places.

I went around with my phone, snapping different parts of the environment. From the old houses to the farms, and network mass. The people there were welcoming, and even though I didn’t know most of them, they smiled when they saw me with my phone. I guess they already knew I was a visitor trying to capture something.

I’ll be posting some of the photos I took here on Liketu, some are just random shots of the area, but to me, they carry meaning. Each one has a story, even if it’s just in my head. I hope you all enjoy them and maybe feel that village vibe too, wherever you are.
