ASEAN Hive Challenge: Macro Photography Artist Perspective
Hello, how are you? ASEAN's challenge this week sounds interesting, so I decided to join. My entry is about the artist's perspective, which means it involves art materials. I have a lot of art materials here, so yeah, they're my main entry LOL. I never knew that looking at them close up is amazing. What caught my eye is the oil pastels I took, the texture looks like when you apply lipstick on paper, that's what it looks like. Keep scrolling and see more macro photos I took. Enjoy!
Macro Photos:
For these photos, I ask myself, "How am I going to take a photo of it?"What if I put them on top of each other, arrange by cool tone and warm, so yeah, by the way, those are watercolor paints in tubes, look interesting right?
Next macro photos, are these colored pencils I had since college days still with me, I remember Faber-Castell is the go-to art materials before, so I, who is not really into colored pencil, got into the trend now I have this with me since then LOL. The texture of the wood they use for the colored pencil looks interesting.
I'm never gonna miss taking the photo of the other part of the colored pencils, it looks like colored honeycomb, right?
I decided to add this, a close-up photo of the paintbrush. I really do need to wash these brushes carefully and meticulously, LOL.
Next is the watercolor paint on my palette grid tray. I can see that those dried fine watercolor paints look interesting.
Next, is my old palette dried and messy, LOL. And with a touch of cat fur.
Next are these squeeze-out acrylic paints, which I waste, and I think are worth the shots.
Next is this sharpened colored pencil.
Love the texture of the oil pastel here, especially the green gray.
The creaminess of this specific color is a chef's kiss.
Thank you for visiting. See you on my next blog. :D
Please take care of your mental health as well.

Very nice, I made this during my high school days and its very wonderful.
Thank you :)
You are very welcome and goodluck on your entry.
We might just take these things for granted at home but when we look at them closely, they also have their own hidden beauty. The tubes looked nice when piled up together especially with the color remnants showing. The sharpened part and back part of the colored pencils look pretty as well. Nice capture of the different art materials. You really have an eye for art...
That is true, yes, yes I like it too :D thank you thank you :D
Wow you have really good photography skills. They all look very aesthetically pleasing to look at!
Thank you :D
The beauty of colors😍. This was the best photography of colors. Edges are emphasize. People who love painting can appreciate this photography. The beauty of the used and unused tools of painting.
Thank you :D
wow! The shots are just amazing! Can't believe that these messes and little things used for art making are beautiful up close. I have never appreciated such small things around until I saw your shots - they are indeed stunning! I guess it's a matter of how we view things, as they say 'beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder', that is, you will never appreciate that something is beautiful at some point, it depends on how we view it. Here, you gave us a different spectrum through which to view these things aesthetically. Nice photography! 💖
Thank you :D

Nice. I like the way you took pictures. Those variety colors catches my attention. Those water paint you had mixed, I like how they are put with.
