✈️ Birthday in the Sky — Motor Glider Flight over Pieniny and Gorce Mountains

At the end of September 2025, I experienced something truly special.
My birthday gift from my beloved was a motor glider flight from the Aeroclub in Nowy Targ — but it wasn’t just a flight. It was a journey above Podhale, the Pieniny range, and the Gorce Mountains during golden hour, just before sunset.

The moment we left the runway, the world changed.
Below us, the rolling green hills and forests unfolded like gentle waves. Mountains shaped the horizon. And above everything — the sky staged its own spectacle.

The air was filled with thick, dramatic clouds. At times, I was flying straight between them — as if floating through a soft, glowing mist. Sun rays pierced the layers of the sky, casting long beams of light across the valleys. Shadows moved across the mountains like a slow, silent tide.

Every second revealed a new frame — a different shade of light, a new depth of color, a fresh emotion.
It was a journey not only above the earth, but also inward.

This was a gift I will remember for a very long time —
one that doesn’t just give you an experience, but also changes the way you look at the world.
