June Sunset on the Baltic Sea | Jantar Beach, Poland
There is something special about the Baltic Sea in June. The days are at their longest, the evenings seem endless, and the golden light transforms even the roughest waves into something peaceful.

During this walk along the beach in Jantar, I found an old tree trunk that had become a natural sculpture, shaped by years of wind, saltwater, and storms. Standing alone in the surf, it created a perfect foreground for the setting sun.

The sea was far from calm. Strong waves kept crashing against the driftwood, sending sprays of water into the warm evening light. Every few seconds the scene changed completely, making each photograph unique despite being taken from almost the same spot.

The low sun painted the sky with shades of orange and gold while long shadows stretched across the sand. Small clouds drifting above the horizon added just enough texture without hiding the last rays of daylight.

One of the things I enjoy most about landscape photography is that nature never repeats itself. The tide, the wind, the clouds, and the light all come together for just a few moments before everything changes again. Capturing those fleeting moments is what keeps bringing me back to the coast.

Although summer had only just begun, this sunset already felt like the perfect reminder of why June is one of my favorite months to photograph the Baltic shoreline.

Which of these compositions do you like the most?
