Some birds are meant to be caged.

We know that caging a bird is against its free will as a living being. But the better truth is that we like to contain them even after we know it and after understanding how they may feel. I feel like I'll die the next second if I'm taken to prison someday, I hope I won't need to see that day. Well, some birds are meant to be caged and you'll understand what I'm trying to say if you read the following story.
As we can't communicate with birds and can't make them our pets easily, we try the caged way which I tried once as well. I went to buy some pigeons from a relative as we like to eat pigeon meat and they're healthy for our body and I've found this family of Budgerigar birds. There was a baby bird with the parents and I got the baby free of cost where I only needed to pay for the parents.
Unfortunately, the baby bird was unable to fly but it was in favor of me as I could take it out of the cage cause it couldn't just fly away from us. I used to play with the baby bird and I tried to teach it how to fly but later I understood that it is sick and can't fly and besides, I noticed that it had some problems with its legs as well. We started taking selfies with the baby Budgerigar placing it on our shoulders and hands as if it was our pet.
The Budgerigar family shared a single cage when I had four more cages where I had 4 pairs of adult pigeons. I kept feeding them regularly and the pigeons started laying eggs and I started to wait for them to be born new baby pigeons. We got 2-3 baby pigeons and then one day I decided to get rid of the pigeons as I was tired of cleaning their messes. Then we cooked them and ate the fresh meats although it was not pre-planned.
So now I only had the Budgerigar family and I kept them as they were little birds and they didn't use to mess around a lot. I kept playing with the baby bird and as it couldn't fly, I started comparing it with the bird from the Rio movie. One day I went to check on the baby and it was so normal when I was about to snatch it but I don't know what happened after it came to my hand. It was so normal and suddenly it died in my hand. I felt too sad and sorry at that moment. I know I wasn't too harsh for it so I thought maybe it was waiting for my last touch before leaving the world.
Then we kept nurturing the parents. Both I and my wife used to feed them. One day I went to check on them and found out that there was only one bird and the cage gate was open. I understood that my wife mistakenly kept the door open when she fed them last time and one bird flew away and another bird maybe couldn't understand or maybe it was scared. I didn't want to keep the single bird in the cage as it may feel lonely so I uncaged it thinking it might find its other half but that's when I saw that big birds like crows started chasing it as soon as I uncaged it in the open sky and that was a heartbreaking moment for us watching the bird escaping for its life but then it managed to get in another house. I hope it was saved that day.
That day I understood that some birds are meant to be caged.
