If you have ever been kind enough to guide someone in their first steps within our Hive platform, you know what are the issues that need to be conveyed so that the new user can achieve a successful blog. The basics of how to put together an interesting post, with original content, no plagiarism, good photos, good writing and encouraging interaction with other members are the key things a newbie should do first. But, after one has gone through all that "familiarization" part, a key stage comes which is "consistency", and that is probably one of the most difficult things to maintain over time 😅.
Si alguna vez tuviste la amabilidad de guiar a alguien en sus primeros pasos dentro de nuestra plataforma Hive, sabes cuáles son las cuestiones que hay que transmitir para que el nuevo usuario pueda lograr un blog exitoso. Los puntos básicos de cómo armar una publicación interesante, con contenido original, sin plagio, buenas fotos, buena redacción y animar a la interacción con otros miembros son las cosas claves que un novato debería hacer en primer lugar. Pero, después de que uno atravesó toda esa parte de la "familiarización", viene una etapa clave que es la "constancia", y probablemente eso sea una de las cosas más difíciles de mantener en el tiempo 😅.
Probably after writing about a few topics, the time will come when you realize which ones are your favorites and/or which ones come more easily to you. The good thing about Hive is that there are so many communities that you can write about anything if you have the necessary creativity. But one of the important points in my opinion is the regularity with which each user writes their content, and that depends on the consistency and the time that each one can dedicate to this activity. Some will see blogging as a hobby and many others as a real job, and as such, it must be done well to be sustainable and profitable 😃.
Probablemente después de escribir sobre unos cuántos temas, llegue el momento en el que te des cuenta de cuáles son tus preferidos y/o cuáles se te dan con mayor facilidad. Lo bueno de Hive es que hay tantas comunidades que se puede escribir sobre cualquier cosa si tenes la creatividad necesaria. Pero uno de los puntos importantes en mi opinión es la regularidad con la que cada usuario escribe su contenido, y eso depende de la constancia y del tiempo que cada uno puede dedicar a esta actividad. Algunos verán el blogging como un pasatiempo y otros tantos como un verdadero trabajo, y como tal, hay que hacerlo bien para que sea sostenible y redituable 😃.
As a writer of almost one post per day and curator, I can already identify several users who have been on the platform for a long time, even several years. Like me, they publish posts daily, without losing the quality, originality or value of their content. Doing this takes a very high level of commitment, planning and organization. I mean that you have to maintain a certain structure to have something to publish every day. It's not easy to develop "the blogging eye," as I defined it recently, but once you do, it's much easier to create content on a daily basis 🙂.
Como escritora de casi un post por día y curadora, ya puedo identificar a varios usuarios que tienen su constancia en la plataforma sostenida hace mucho tiempo, incluso varios años. Al igual que yo, publican diariamente, sin perder ni la calidad, originalidad o valor de su contenido. Hacer esto lleva un nivel muy grande de compromiso, planificación y organización. Me refiero a que hay que mantener una cierta estructura para tener algo que publicar cada día. No es sencillo desarrollar "el ojo de ver lo blogeable", como lo definí hace poco, pero una vez que lo haces, es mucho más fácil crear contenido diariamente 🙂.
Something that helps a lot in this organization to blog daily without failing in the attempt is knowing the existing communities. We know that in Hive there are communities of almost everything: recipes, photographs, trips, crafts, reflections and a long, long etcetera. If you know what things you can write about, it becomes easy to do it later. Another important point apart from the main idea is the issue of photography: in Hive it is not necessary to be a professional photographer to have a successful blog, but it is necessary to take the best shots possible. This, together with good writing, can create an interesting article that attracts readers. It's just a matter of trying 😃.
Algo que ayuda mucho en esta organización para bloguear a diario sin fallar en el intento es conocer las comunidades existentes. Sabemos que en Hive existen comunidades de casi todo: recetas, fotografías, viajes, manualidades, reflexiones y un largo, largo etcétera. Si sabes de qué cosas podés escribir, se vuelve sencillo hacerlo más tarde. Otro punto importante aparte de la idea principal es el tema de la fotografía: en Hive no es necesario ser un fotógrafo profesional para tener un blog exitoso, pero si es necesario hacer las tomas lo mejor posible. Esto, en conjunto con una buena redacción, pueden originar un artículo interesante que atraiga lectores. Solo es cuestión de intentarlo 😃.
In my personal experience, in recent months I took a significant leap and decided to travel and support myself financially almost entirely with my Hive income. At the same time, I exchange a few hours of hotel work for accommodation, but the rest of the expenses are borne entirely by this blog. This forced me to sharpen my own eye to see what is bloggable, because I feel like I can't run out of content to share since it is what keeps me going. Travel content is something I love because I like to walk around and at the same time, I can get photos to work with on my blog later. Most of my trips end up being photography tours, so the profit is double: I know a beautiful place that I can then monetize in its entirety 💕.
En mi experiencia personal, en estos últimos meses dí un salto importante y me animé a viajar y sostenerme financieramente casi en su totalidad con mis ingresos de Hive. Paralelamente intercambio unas pocas horas de trabajo en hotelería por el alojamiento, pero el resto de los gastos corren en su totalidad por cuenta de este blog. Esto me obligó a agudizar mi propio ojo de ver lo blogueable, porque siento que no me puedo quedar sin contenido para compartir ya que es lo que me mantiene. El contenido de viajes es algo que me encanta porque me gusta pasear y al mismo tiempo, puedo obtener fotos con las que trabajar en mi blog más tarde. La mayoría de mis viajes terminan siendo tours fotograficos, por lo que la ganancia es doble: conozco un lugar hermoso que después puedo monetizar en su totalidad 💕.

In order not to run out of content, on each walk I take many photos that end up being the material for my publications in the different Hive communities. Something I do when I'm not sure what to post is make a spreadsheet with what I'm going to post each day of the week, or simply look at my photo gallery and check what I can write about today. At this point, after almost four years of blogging, I already move in almost the same communities as always, but the reality is that I like to write about anything. In this case, it is better that the content topic is over and not missing 😅.
Para no quedarme sin contenido, en cada paseo saco muchas fotos que terminan siendo el material para mis publicaciones en las distintas comunidades de Hive. Algo que hago cuando no tengo muy claro qué publicar es hacer una planilla con lo que voy a escribir cada día de la semana, o simplemente ver mi galería de fotos y revisar sobre qué puedo publicar en ese momento. En este punto, después de casi cuatro años de blog, ya me muevo en casi las mismas comunidades de siempre, pero la realidad es que me gusta escribir de cualquier cosa. En este caso, es mejor que la temática de contenidos sobre y no que falte 😅.

Without a doubt, making a list of publications helps a lot, as does having an eye when taking photographs and thinking in advance about which community they might look good in.
Having changed your lifestyle, and constantly traveling and seeing beautiful places, I think it expanded your photographic portfolio and consequently created a range of possibilities.

Your post raises a question for me, is it appropriate to see it as something serious like a job?
It comes to mind because of what you say, and because of comments on social networks that I have read about it. Some people say that you shouldn't take it that way, others think yes because at the end of the day you dedicate time to it.
I only have my personal opinion and that is that I don't see it as a job, but as something that I enjoy doing, and that I take seriously because I like to do things well and with my Hive blog I plan to meet some objectives.
Regarding the post, my way of creating content is daily life, I write about things I see, read, or experience. Until yesterday I started applying search for communities in Hive and writing them in my notebook. I casually thought about the same thing as you, looking for a community, but according to my niche. I feel like I've been messy, and I want to grow in Hive, so I need to put some order in. Thanks for the post, it is very good for everyone. :)
I think that seeing it as a job makes things a little more serious and also more committed... unlike a regular blog, here you can earn income and there are people who really need it to live, so it can work as a replacement for formal employment. What I always say is that it is important not to stop enjoying the activity, because otherwise it becomes heavy and you lose focus, the content starts to be bad and it shows. As long as you do it with enthusiasm, I think you can have good results.
And blogging about daily life is a good strategy. After all, there are other web2 networks where we share photos of our daily life without getting anything in return... 😅

Because I was never serious about it. But recently I learned many new things about hive. So, I am trying to become active. I also love to write about travel blog as you. Currently I am a student. Publicar todos los días no es nada fácil y estas publicaciones son de mucha ayuda para guiarnos e inspirarnos, mi ritmo dentro la plataforma es bastante limitado por mis actividades, pero he invitados amigos que si lo hacen con buenos resultados, tener una buena galería de fotos sin duda alguna siempre nos inspira, que bueno que puedas mantener un buen ingreso de la plataforma y poder viajar. Para no quedarme sin ideas, no creo contenido a diario 😂🤣😂🤣, lo hice por varios años como periodista y puede llegar a cansar 🤯.
Aunque un blog es diferente porque elegimos los temas y nadie nos presiona para entregar el escrito a tal hora, siento que si lo hago a diario es como un trabajo normal, y no quiero eso jajaja.
En cuanto a la constancia, me parece que es vital en Hive, igual que la interacción, sobre todo para darse a conocer en las diferentes comunidades, sin embargo esto no siempre incide en la monetización, no es una fórmula que funcione para todos. En los 5 años y medio que tengo en la blockchain, he visto y sigo viendo muchísimos casos de gente constante, con exelente contenido pero muy poco valorado 🤔, ese tema es un debate constante aquí, es bueno que lo hayas tocado en este post jejeje

Es verdad que te CANSA jaja, tener que estar prensando tanto y ser creativo para que no quede tan escueta la publicación cuesta bastante (?).
Y es cierto que escribir todos los días se termina volviendo como un trabajo formal pero de ahí que cada uno lo toma como le parece... yo generalmente no escribo todos los días pero a veces las deudas que tengo me motivan a hacerlo para no tener que hacer tanto power down 😂.
Lo de las personas constantes con blogs invisibles por momentos es algo raro, no entiendo como sus nombre no terminan de resonar del todo. Calculo que será algo del algoritmo o no sé, también puede ser cuestión de suerte.
