In Which We Go Country Western
Roughly once a month, a group of models and photographers gets together and has a little fun with a fashion photoshoot. It's a way to play, get hash out various ideas, and practice our craft without any pressure.
Theme of the shoot we did a couple of weeks ago was "Western" -- denim, leather, cowboy (or cowgirl, as the case may be) hats, and of course the obligatory boots.
We have five amazing models to work with.
Eesha went with a black and white look, with that perfect accent of turquoise jewelry in addition to the silver studs on her jacket.
Kaytlin is consistently one of my favorite models to work with. And she rocked her looks with the cowboy hat...
...and even without.
Noelle is definitely a new favorite for me! This was my first time working with her and I sincerely hope it is not my last. She even borrowed my new cowboy hat to take some of her photos with. (Yep, that's the one I wore myself to get into the country western spirit of the shoot! LOL)
Noelle also had an absolutely DAZZLING smile! (Yes, fashion models, it is okay to smile!)
And finally we had Sofia, a model who recently achieved a local award for her modeling.
Trust me, you'll see more of this session in future. It's one of my favorites I've ever done.
That is a cool idea for models and photographers to get together like that. Some great shots!
It's always a lot of fun! I just did a fairies themed one a couple of days ago, and I've got another themed shoot I'm part of in September. It's a great way to let off some steam!
