In Which We Experience Halloween Evemore-Style

Utah is not known for its theme parks, but that does not mean we don't have fun ones!

The most recent one being Evermore Park in Pleasant Grove.

Evermore was created by a private owner with a creative flair. It is not a ride-based park, but instead a storytelling one. The park immerses guests in a fantastical atmosphere, complete with quirky characters and even quests.

It is largely a seasonal park, and of course Halloween belongs in that category! We attended the park last night to enjoy this year's All-Hallow's Eve celebration.

Jack-o-Lanterns and pumpkin-headed scarecrows were scattered all throughout the park, from the church graveyard to the pub to the haunted pathways.

And when the light dies and darkness sets in, the spookiness increases with creepy and colorful lighting and a dark and mysterious mood.

If you like that extra chill down your spine, while still having fun, then Evermore definitely fits the bill! From the story-telling pumpkins to the fire dancers, it hit all the right notes.
