A geological picture: Limestone in the Baconao River

En el Río Baconao, en Santiago de Cuba, Cuba, afloran estas rocas blancas aporcelanadas, llamadas calizas. Un lugar donde las poderosas fuerzas que crearon estas rocas, se unen con lo sublime de la Naturaleza.
Tomé estas fotografías en 2015, cuando era estudiante de Geología, y el sitio se ha quedado fijado en mi memoria.

In the Baconao River, in Santiago de Cuba, Cuba, these white porcelain rocks, called limestone, emerge. A place where the powerful forces that created these rocks unite with the sublime of Nature.
I took these photographs in 2015, when I was a Geology student, and the site has remained fixed in my memory.
