NOS VAMOS AL MURAL DE LA PREHISTORIA [SPA-ENG]
Hola y buen dia amigos del mundo entero, en una primera entrada a esta hermosa comunidad, en donde se pueden compartir historias de viajes impresionantes a traves de instantaneas quisiera mostrar algunas de ellas relacionadas con una breve estancia que tuve en el majestuoso Valle de Viñales en la provincia mas occidental de la Isla de Cuba.
Pues si, por alla por el año 2018 tuve el placer de conocer el majestuoso Valle de Viñales localizado en la provincia de Pinar del Rio en la Isla de Cuba. Esta visita fue por motivos de trabajo a raiz de un evento provincial denominado JOVENSUELO 2018 dedicado a todos aquellos jovenes cientificos vinculados a las ciencias del suelo en Cuba. Dentro de las actividades recreativas que estaban asociadas al evento estaba la visita al Valle de Viñales el cual nos brindo diferentes atractivos desde nuestra llegada.
Nos habiamos hospedado en el complejo turistico recreativo Dos Hermanas instalacion ubicado en el medio del Valle el cual estaba rodeado por los impresionantes mogotes cubiertos de un complejo de vegetacion autoctona de la isla.
Despues del ultimo dia de ponencias nuestros guias nos llevaron a visitar el famoso MURAL DE LA PREHISTORIA, el cual fue diseñado por el artista plastico Leovigildo González Morillo en el año 1959. Esta majestuosa obra es considerada uno de los murales pintados a cielo abierto mas grandes del mundo sus dimensiones oscilan en los 120 metros de alto por 160 metros de ancho. La obra en vez de haber sido pintanda en un lienzo fue dibujada sobre un mogote, donde este termino en geologia se define como remanentes de capas sedimentarias de piedra caliza erosionada a travez del tiempo y en combinacion con varios factores naturales.
Como recordaran por aquellos tiempos no existia tanta afision por la tecnologia y el solo hecho de que alguien portara un equipo telefonico era algo relevante, pero esto no impidio que mis compañeros de travesia se detuvieran en algunas localizaciones dentro del parque para tomar varias instantaneas que capturaran una breve excursion por aquellos hermosos parajes.
Pero no fue solo esta nuestra unica parada tambien visitamos el sistema de cuevas kartsicas conocido como la Cueva del Indio donde emprendimos un viaje en bote por todo el interior de la cueva hasta su salida.
Esta fue una salida interesante donde pudimos combinar el trabajo con la diversion y la practica. Os recomiendo llegarse a este hermoso lugar para que comiencen si no lo han hecho nunca a conocer mi bella Cuba.

Hello and good day friends from all over the world, in a first entry to this beautiful community, where you can share impressive travel stories through snapshots, I would like to show some of them related to a brief stay I had in the majestic Viñales Valley in the westernmost province of the Island of Cuba.
Well yes, back in 2018 I had the pleasure of getting to know the majestic Viñales Valley located in the province of Pinar del Rio on the Island of Cuba. This visit was for work reasons following a provincial event called JOVENSUELO 2018 dedicated to all those young scientists linked to soil sciences in Cuba. Among the recreational activities that were associated with the event was the visit to the Viñales Valley, which offered us different attractions since our arrival.
We had stayed at the Dos Hermanas recreational tourist complex, a facility located in the middle of the Valley which was surrounded by the impressive mogotes covered in a complex of native vegetation of the island.
After the last day of presentations, our guides took us to visit the famous PREHISTORY MURAL, which was designed by the plastic artist Leovigildo González Morillo in 1959. This majestic work is considered one of the largest open-air painted murals. in the world, its dimensions range from 120 meters high by 160 meters wide. Instead of having been painted on a canvas, the work was drawn on a mogote, where this term in geology is defined as remnants of sedimentary layers of limestone eroded over time and in combination with various natural factors.
As you remember, in those times there was not so much passion for technology and the mere fact that someone carried a telephone equipment was something relevant, but this did not prevent my companions on the trip from stopping at some locations within the park to take several snapshots that they would capture. a brief excursion through those beautiful places.
But this was not only our only stop, we also visited the kart cave system known as the Cueva del Indio where we undertook a boat trip throughout the interior of the cave until its exit.
This was an interesting outing where we were able to combine work with fun and practice. I recommend that you come to this beautiful place so that you can begin, if you have never done so, to get to know my beautiful Cuba.
