Recently, I took my daughters to the university where I teach. Before the pandemic, I took them to the university frequently, especially when they did not have classes, and we had no one to leave them with at the apartment.

I decided to give them a tour of the entire university campus where we had to pass by a very neglected and overgrown cafeteria, it was on that road where my youngest daughter managed to spot this iguana, my daughters were very impressed because of how big the iguana was.

After taking that picture, where I had only seen one iguana, suddenly they began to see others that were not so big, but when we got a little closer the iguanas ran away to hide.

Only this iguana let me get close, in fact there was a moment, where my daughters got scared, since this iguana did not run away when we were close, on the contrary she was getting closer to where we were, I am sure it was a way to protect her territory, that is normal, but it only happens against other iguanas, never against a person, my daughters felt scared and moved away, I, on the contrary, took advantage and took some pictures.
