Mi amanecer de todos los lunes

Lunes de fe y esperanza

Hoy como casi todos estos días el sol tardó un poco más en asomarse, y mientras el cielo se iba tiñendo de naranja, pareciera como si ese grandioso sol también necesitara tiempo para salir, como siempre después de hacer mis ejercicios para creer en mí mismo, entre escaleras y escaleras, me puse a esperar con paciencia, con mi celular en mano, como cada lunes, sabiendo que la luz llega cuando tiene que llegar. Y mientras el cielo se iba coloreando de alegría, pensé en la fe. Esa que no hace ruido, pero sostiene. La que me acompaña cuando cruzo el pasillo y digo “aquí voy”, aunque no sepa exactamente a dónde.

Sin embargo, con esa fe también está acompañada de la esperanza, en cambio, es ese primer rayo que paso a paso me va tocando mientras veo como esta saliendo. Ese rayo de sol no calienta de inmediato, pero promete. Y yo me aferro a esa promesa cada lunes, cuando el mundo parece empezar de nuevo. Hoy, por ejemplo, agradezco el café compartido con mi esposa, el saludo de mi suegra que está en mi casa de visita, y el aire que me recibió como si supiera que lo estaba esperando.

A veces la fe está en los gestos: en la forma en que mis hijas me miran sin decir nada, en el abrazo que no pedí pero llegó. Y la esperanza vive en precisamente esperar esos cumpleaños que se acercan, en las fotos que aún no he tomado, en los textos que todavía no he escrito.

Este lunes no es distinto, pero tampoco es igual. Porque cada amanecer, sobre todo mi amanecer de todos los lunes, trae su propio mensaje, y hoy me dijo que la fe no necesita pruebas, solo presencia. Y que la esperanza no es un deseo, sino una certeza que se construye con cada paso.

Les deseo con mucho cariño y afecto sin conocerte un feliz lunes. Que algo bueno les pase. Que lo reconozcan. Y si no lo ven todavía, quizás solo necesiten mirar el cielo… y esperar.

Como dice el refrán… El sol no espera por nadie. Pero siempre sale para todos.

Solo dedícate a ser feliz encontrar tu luz, segundo a segundo.

My Monday Morning Sunrise

Monday of Faith and Hope

Today, like most days lately, the sun took a little longer to rise. And as the sky slowly turned orange, it felt as if that magnificent sun also needed time to come out. As always, after my morning exercises—between staircases and steps—I waited patiently, phone in hand, like every Monday, knowing that light arrives when it’s meant to. And as the sky filled with color and joy, I thought about faith. That quiet force that holds us up. The one that walks with me when I cross the hallway and say “here I go,” even if I don’t know exactly where.

But alongside faith, there’s also hope. It’s that first ray of light that gently touches me as I watch the sun begin to rise. That sunlight doesn’t warm me right away, but it makes a promise. And I hold on to that promise every Monday, when the world seems to begin again. Today, for example, I’m grateful for the coffee I shared with my wife, the greeting from my mother-in-law who’s visiting us, and the warm air that welcomed me as if it knew I’d been waiting.

Sometimes, faith lives in gestures: in the way my daughters look at me without saying a word, in the hug I didn’t ask for but received. And hope lives in waiting—for the birthdays that are near, for the photos I haven’t taken yet, for the words I’ve yet to write.

This Monday isn’t different, but it’s not the same either. Because every sunrise—especially my Monday sunrise—brings its own message. And today it told me that faith doesn’t need proof, only presence. And that hope isn’t a wish, but a certainty built step by step.

With affection, even if I don’t know you personally, I wish you a happy Monday. May something good happen to you. May you recognize it. And if you don’t see it yet, maybe you just need to look at the sky… and wait.
