Seizing the Moment
Friends of the Black and White community, today I'm sharing a short bus trip. There are times when you really shine when taking photos; I'm not a professional, but I try to focus as best I can, and when you're out and about, you get inspired. These past few days, I traveled around part of the city on a bus, since I was running an errand. It was unlikely I wouldn't be able to take photos, given how busy I was going to be, but I loved the scenery I could see through the bus window. It's a part of the city I know, but I've never walked through it. This area has many residential buildings, plazas, and monuments.

Aprovechando El Momento Amigos de la comunidad Black And White, hoy les comparto un corto viaje en buseta. Hay momentos en que te superas cuando tomas fotografías; no soy profesional, pero trato de enfocar lo mejor posible y, cuando recorres las calles, te inspiras. En estos días recorrí parte de la ciudad en un bus, ya que iba a una diligencia; era poco probable que no pudiera tomar fotos, por lo ocupada que iba a estar, pero el paisaje que podía divisar a través de la ventana del bus me encantaba. Es una parte de la ciudad que yo conozco, pero nunca la he caminado. En esta área se ubican muchos edificios residenciales, plazas y monumentos.
Among the monuments is a symbolic sculpture located at the India roundabout, which has generated much discussion. And in the background, we see the Parque La India building. I decided to put my skills to the test; I couldn't pass up this opportunity. These photos were taken each time the driver dropped off a passenger along the route; it required great precision to frame the shot and click quickly before the bus moved on; however, I managed to get a few in motion.
Entre los monumentos tenemos una escultura simbólica ubicada en la redoma de la India, que ha dado mucho de qué hablar. Y al fondo vemos el edificio Parque La India. Me animé a poner en práctica mis habilidades; no podía dejar pasar esta oportunidad. Estas fotos fueron tomadas cada vez que el conductor dejaba un pasajero en la ruta; había que tener mucha precisión para encuadrar y darle clic rápido antes de que avanzara el bus; sin embargo, logré unas en movimiento.
This #monomad post was a morning challenge for me, and a different kind of day, allowing me to see the city from another perspective. The capital stands out for its imposing buildings and abundant natural space, while the daily routine of its inhabitants sets the pace. Here are some other images I managed to capture.
Esta entrada a #monomad para mí fue un reto mañanero y un día distinto lograr ver la ciudad desde otra óptica, donde la capital se destaca por sus imponentes edificaciones y mucho espacio al natural, y la rutina diaria de su población marca el ritmo. Aquí otras imágenes que pude capturar.
At that time of the morning, activity begins on the avenues; cars and motorcycles pass by at a certain speed. I observe people walking quickly and crossing streets, focused on starting a new day of work.
A esa hora de la mañana la actividad comienza en las avenidas carros y motorizados pasan a cierta velocidad, observo a la gente caminar rápido y cruzar calles, concentrados para iniciar un nuevo día de trabajo.
In this area, we can find many residential neighborhoods, inviting us to explore their streets and learn more about the community. This short bus ride allowed me to pass through the El Paraíso Parish, on Avenida La Paz, Caracas.
En este sector podemos encontrar muchas zonas residenciales, que nos invitan a explorar sus calles y conocer más de la comunidad. Este breve paseo en el bus me permitió pasar por la Parroquia El Paraíso, avenida La Paz, Caracas.
