Family Travel to Warairarepano

During the week, in our family we choose some days to go for a walk and this time we chose the Warairarepano National Park, also known as El Avila Park, it extends from Caracas, all the north of Miranda state and the south of La Guaira state, this mountain range is our vegetable lung. When we arrive to it, we feel completely relaxed, the cold weather, the fog, the nature, the landscape and the pure air transport us.

To get to the Park we find many different ways: we can walk up and enjoy the adventure on cobblestone roads and admire many endemic plants, you can go up by jeep, or by cable car, any option is an unforgettable experience.

Leaving the complex we find this road where the crowd goes in the distance we see our flag waving and the Hotel Humboldt, on the sides some kiosks for people to taste the delicacies offered by vendors, mostly natural products. We also observed a wooden roofed space where this artist earns his daily living by painting portraits or caricatures of the people who visit the park.

I dedicated myself to take pictures of the plants and flora of the park, when the fog moved away, I could capture a panoramic view of the whole city, I am very fascinated by this place, then I met this beautiful canine, a breed of dog called Mucuchíes, native of the Venezuelan Andes, officially declared national dog of Venezuela, is characterized by being a robust dog, with lots of energy, brown eyes, is very gentle, but is a great watchman.

In order to protect its breed, the Nevado de Venezuela Foundation has a Preservation Plan for the Mucuchi dog, where they protect and preserve the welfare of the breed, increase the population of purebred dogs and its full recognition on a national and international scale. The Foundation is in charge of their breeding and has breeders in the city of Caracas and Merida. By convention, it is now common to find them in the Warairarepano since the climatic conditions are similar to the Andes mountains, we will always find them with their caretaker who is distinguished by his red ruana used in the Andean Paramos.

It is definitely a magical place, we do not want to stop enjoying more, but we are out of time and we must go here I leave the last images, enjoy it.

Viaje Familiar al Warairarepano

En la semana, en nuestra familia escogemos algunos días para pasear y esta vez escogimos el Complejo Turístico Teleférico Warairarepano Parque Nacional, se conoce también como Parque El Ávila, se extiende desde Caracas, todo el norte del estado Miranda y el sur del estado La Guaira, esta cadena montañosa es nuestro pulmón vegetal. Cuando llegamos a ella, nos sentimos completamente relajado, el clima frío, la neblina, la naturaleza, el paisaje y el aire puro nos transportan.

Para llegar al Parque nos encontramos con muchos caminos diferentes: podemos subir caminando y gozar de la aventura por caminos empedrados y admirar muchas plantas endémicas, se puede subir jeep, o por el teleférico, cualquiera opción es una experiencia inolvidable.

Al salir del Complejo nos encontramos con este camino donde va la muchedumbre a lo lejos vemos nuestra Bandera hondear y el Hotel Humboldt, a los lados algunos quioscos, para que la gente deguste de las delicias que ofrecen los vendedores, mayormente son productos naturales. También observamos un espacio techado de madera, donde este artista, se gana su sustento diario, pintando retratos o caricatura de las personas que visitan el parque.
Me dediqué a tomar fotos de las plantas y flora del parque, cuando la niebla se apartó, pude capturar una panorámica de toda la ciudad, me fascina mucho este lugar, luego me encontré a este hermoso canino, una raza de perro llamada Mucuchíes, oriundo de los Andes venezolanos, declarado oficialmente perro nacional de Venezuela, se caracteriza por ser un perro robusto, con mucha energía, ojos pardos, se muestra muy apacible, pero es un gran vigilante.

Con el objetivo de resguardar su raza la Fundación Nevado de Venezuela lleva un Plan de Preservación del perro Mucuchíes, donde resguardan y preservan el bienestar de la raza, aumento de la población de ejemplares puros y su reconocimiento pleno en la escala nacional e internacional. La Fundación se encarga de su crianza y para ella cuenta con criadores en la ciudad de Caracas y Mérida. Por convenio, ahora es común encontrarlo en el Warairarepano ya que las condiciones climáticas son similares a las montañas de los Andes, siempre los vamos a encontrar con su cuidador que se distingue por su ruana roja utilizada en los Paramos Andinos.

Definitivamente es un lugar mágico, que no queremos dejar quisiera disfrutar más, pero ya se nos pasó el tiempo y debemos irnos aquí les dejo las últimas imágenes, disfrútenla.
