Another Day in the City Center

My best wishes to our friends at Actifit. I have to tell you, a lovely place to take a walk is downtown; whenever I go out, it's to run errands. But once I finish those, I take the time to walk nonstop for at least two hours. When I'm done, I always pass by Plaza Bolívar; there are always cultural performances that draw people's attention. Today was one of those days; there was a public performance, and I stopped to see what it was about while taking some photos.

Otro Día En El Centro De La Ciudad

Mis mejores deseos para nuestros amigos de Actifit. Les cuento, un lugar agradable es el centro de la ciudad para hacer una caminata; siempre que salgo, es para hacer diligencias personales. Pero una vez que concluyo esos compromisos, me tomo el tiempo para caminar sin parar por lo menos dos horas. Cuando termino, siempre paso por la Plaza Bolívar; persistentemente vemos presentaciones culturales que acaparan la atención de las personas. Hoy fue uno de esos días donde había una presentación pública y me detuve a ver de qué se trataba, mientras tomaba algunas fotos.

This place is always bustling; some parents bring their children, who are easily distracted feeding the pigeons that live in the trees of the plaza and are a real attraction for the little ones because they love to feed them. And when they do, the pigeons flutter about looking for food, and it's a delightful sight for everyone who visits the plaza.

Siempre este lugar tiene movimiento; algunos padres traen a sus hijos, que fácilmente se distraen dándoles comida a las palomas que hacen vida en los árboles de la plaza y que son la atracción de los más pequeños porque les encanta alimentarlas. Y cuando lo hacen, estas revolotean para buscar el alimento, y es una sensación para todos los que asisten a la plaza.

The event taking place in the square is both cultural and political, calling for the president's release. It's a moving occasion for many, bringing together various organizations and combining it with music and traditional cultural activities. Many elderly people gather here, sitting on the benches to enjoy some leisure time, having dedicated their lives to work and now enjoying their retirement. I leave you with these vibrant images, always with that touch of nature that makes us feel good.

El acto que se celebra en la plaza es cultural y político, para pedir por la liberación del presidente. Un hecho emotivo para muchos, donde se unen algunas organizaciones y se compaginan con música y actividades culturales tradicionales. Es aquí donde se reúnen muchas personas adultas mayores que se sientan en los bancos para pasar un rato ameno, ya que dedicaron toda su vida al trabajo y ahora están jubilados. Con estas imágenes muy coloridas los dejo. Siempre con ese toque que nos da la naturaleza para sentirnos bien.
