Visiting a Health Center

Friends of the Actifit community, I'm here to greet you again as I begin my daily activities by visiting various hospitals. So far this year, my hospital visits have been nonstop, both for my own checkups and to accompany family members to their monthly appointments. This time, I'm here with a brother who has to come regularly; today he had an appointment to have a catheter changed.
He spent the entire morning waiting for his turn. And to keep myself occupied, I'm exploring the hospital and learning about the services they offer to patients.

Visitando Un Centro de Salud

Amigos de la comunidad de Actifit, un nuevo momento para saludarlos, comenzando mis actividades diarias, visitando varios centros hospitalarios. En lo que va de este año, han sido imparables las visitas al hospital, ya sea para chequearme, como también acompañando a familiares a sus rutinas mensuales. En esta oportunidad vengo acompañando a un hermano que tiene que venir con regularidad; hoy le tocaba cita para cambiarse una sonda.
En esa estadía duró toda la mañana, esperando que le llegara su turno para atenderlo. Y yo, para no aburrirme, me dedico a conocer el hospital y a averiguar los servicios que prestan a los pacientes.

The hospital's architecture, dating from the 19th century, is neoclassical in style and characterized by its wide corridors and abundant natural light throughout, allowing air to permeate every corner. It is a busy healthcare center due to the numerous research projects conducted there and serves as a treatment center for a wide range of illnesses. It is notable for being the first modern hospital in the country.

La arquitectura del hospital tiene un estilo neoclásico, data del siglo XIX, se caracteriza por sus anchos pasillos y por la entrada de luz natural en todos sus espacios; el aire se dispersa por todos sus rincones. Es un centro de salud muy concurrido, debido a las innumerables investigaciones que se realizan en él, y es un centro de atención de muchas patologías. Destacándose por ser el primer hospital moderno del país.

I spent my time walking through the hallways and taking some pictures; this helped me relieve stress, as I'm not very comfortable visiting these kinds of places. Despite that, the view was pleasant; you notice the constant movement of people waiting and doctors hurrying in and out. There are small gardens where people sit and pass the time, trying to unwind while waiting for the day to end.

Me dediqué a caminar por sus pasillos y lograr algunas imágenes; esto me sirvió para liberar el estrés, ya que no estoy muy cómoda visitando estos lugares. A pesar de ello, la vista fue agradable; notas el constante movimiento de la gente en espera y de los médicos que salen y entran con pasos apurados. Tiene pequeños jardines donde las personas se sientan y pasan el rato para distraerse un poco, esperando que pase el día.

I continue walking nonstop, discovering every corner of the hospital, as it is very large and has several annexes.

Yo sigo caminando sin parar e ir descubriendo cada rincón del hospital, ya que es muy grande y tiene varios anexos.
