*Visit to the Chacaíto Colonial Center

A big hello to friends of the Actifit community after a very rainy weekend. Today I wanted to explore a neighborhood within the Chacao municipality. This was my first time there. It's located in Miranda state, a center where you can find a variety of textiles. I was supposed to meet a friend at a certain location, but she didn't make it, so I decided to head there instead. It's a great opportunity to carry out my activity, exploring all its spaces.

Visita Al Centro Colonial Chacaíto

Un gran saludo a amigos de la comunidad de Actifit, después de un fin de semana muy lluvioso. Hoy he querido conocer, un sector dentro del municipio Chacao. Primera vez que voy, está ubicado en el estado Miranda, es un centro donde puedes encontrar una variedad de ropa textil. Me iba a encontrar con una amiga en un punto determinado, pero ella no llegó, y decidí llegarme hasta ahí. Es una gran oportunidad para realizar mi actividad, recorriendo todos sus espacios.

I was surprised by its somewhat informal entrance. The surrounding area features banana plantations, a pile of construction debris, and a large expanse of hamlet draped in red roofs. It didn't really seem to me like this place houses a clothing center or boutiques. So I went inside to explore and descended some stairs.

Me sorprendió su entrada un poco informal. Se observa en sus alrededores, plantaciones de matas de plátano, un montón de desechos de construcción, una gran extensión de un caserío arropado con techos rojos, realmente no me parece, que este sitio alberga un centro o tiendas de ropa textil. Así que me metí para descubrir y descendí por unas escaleras.

When I arrived at the site I found many closed stalls, but the place is like a small shopping center, in it we found many clothing stores, for children, women and men, shoe stalls, and another stand where they exhibit a great variety of assorted merchandise. I also saw small restaurants where they offer a variety of food.

Al llegar al sitio encontré muchos puestos cerrados, pero el lugar es como un pequeño centro comercial, en él encontramos muchos locales de ropa, de niños, damas y caballeros, puestos de zapatería, y otro stand donde exhiben gran variedad de mercancía surtida También observé pequeños restaurantes donde ofrecen comida variada.

As I walked around, I noticed that all the stores were staffed by young entrepreneurs, who demonstrated a deep knowledge of the products or materials they sell and a wealth of experience in clothing design and manufacturing. Each salesperson put their personal stamp on providing quality customer service and selling their merchandise. When I asked why many businesses were closed, it was because they were on a day off.

Cuando recorría el lugar, noté que todas las tiendas son atendidas por jóvenes emprendedores, quienes mostraron un profundo conocimiento sobre los productos o materiales que venden y se manejan con mucha experiencia en cuanto a la confección y diseños de ropa. Cada vendedor puso su sello personal en cuanto a brindar un servicio de calidad al cliente y ofertar sus mercancías. Cuando pregunté por qué había muchos negocios cerrados, era porque estaban en su día libre.

Well, my walk that day was an incredible experience, even though I misjudged the place. At first glance, the atmosphere and the quality of service made my visit to the Chacaíto Colonial Center a rewarding experience. I learned not to judge without first seeing it.
