A Pleasant Walk in the Park

I really enjoyed this walk, especially since I'm trying to be more active; this day was wonderful and very different. The park was bustling, which brings the space to life; sometimes it feels quite desolate. Although there's a noticeable drought due to the lack of rain, it's the green areas that are being disturbed, and their uneven terrain is changing and transforming into a blanket of different shades of brown, from the trees shedding their leaves and changing their hue, to the grass drying out. As we know, this is a normal cycle of nature where constant changes occur, and it allows us to enjoy these special moments as well.

Un Grato Paseo En El Parque

He disfrutado mucho de este paseo, especialmente porque estoy tratando de estar más activa; este día fue genial y muy diferente. El parque estaba muy concurrido y esto le da vida al espacio; algunas veces se siente muy desolado. Aunque se nota algo de sequía por la ausencia de las lluvias, sus áreas verdes son las que se perturban, y sus desiguales áreas cambian y se transforman en un manto de diferentes tonos pardos, por los árboles que se deshojan, cambiando su tonalidad, y la grama que se va secando. Como sabemos, es un ciclo normal de la naturaleza donde ocurren constantes cambios, eso nos permite recrearnos también con esos momentos especiales.

As the landscape transforms and we're treated to spectacular views, the radiant khaki tones of the dry leaves change the panorama with their brown and yellowish hues, and the sun, with its dazzling light, invites us to discover the texture of these new elements. Personally, when I have the chance to walk through a pile of dry leaves, it gives me a feeling of tranquility, and I love the crunching sound they make when you step on them; it's delightful to me. I can't quite put my finger on what I feel, but I like it.

Ya que el paisaje se transforma y conseguimos ver vistas espectaculares, donde los tonos kaki radiantes de esas hojas secas cambian el panorama con sus matices marrones y amarillentos, donde el sol, con su destellante luz, nos invita a descubrir la textura de esos nuevos elementos. En lo particular, cuando tengo la oportunidad de pasar por un montículo de hojas secas, eso me genera una sensación de tranquilidad y me encanta ese chasquido que emiten cuando las pisas; es adorable para mí. No sé definir lo que siento, pero me gusta.

I'm excited because there's a lot of activity in the park, with many people coming to exercise and socialize. Arriving early allows me to explore many areas; this path led me to the sports fields, where young people were playing soccer. Then I passed by a spot where the lagoon ends and noticed a group of vultures looking for something to eat; it's the first time I've seen them up close, so I focused on capturing these images.

Estoy emocionada, porque hay bastante actividad en el parque, mucha gente que vino a ejercitarse y a compartir. Llegando temprano puedo recorrer muchos sitios; este camino me condujo a las canchas deportivas, donde jóvenes practicaban futbol. Luego pasé por un sitio donde ya terminaba la laguna y pude notar un comité de zamuros buscando algo que comer; primera vez que los veo de cerca, me concentré para traerles estas imágenes.

That house on the little hill is an icon, so beautiful; I photograph it whenever I can; today it felt different. I think nature was giving us a beautiful day: clear skies, little sun, and a pleasant breeze that enlivened the atmosphere, and people seemed very happy; I could see they were eager to exercise, to enjoy themselves, and to lead a healthy life. I wanted to capture every moment I experienced and gathered many memories.

Esa casa en la montañita es un ícono, muy bonita; la fotografío cada vez que puedo; hoy la percibí distinta. Creo que la naturaleza nos estaba regalando un buen día: el cielo despejado, poco sol y una brisa agradable que alimentaba el ambiente, y la gente se sentía muy contenta; observaba en ellos muchas ganas de ejercitarse, de disfrutar y de llevar una vida saludable. Quise capturar cada instante por donde pasaba y recopilé muchas vivencias.
