Staged portraits aren't really my thing. In fact, I don't usually use artificial light or anything like that, but sometimes you have to do them, and the more skills I learn, the more well-rounded I become.

A friend asked me to take some portraits because he's participating in a music festival, and they're asking for a "decent photo."

We improvised a bit because we took them at his place, and in his own words, his house is "awful." However, we found an ideal corner for the photos.

I brought a flash, a diffuser, and of course, my camera.

We tried several poses, looking for the ideal light and also his profile.

He has some particular expressions, and I wanted to highlight them.

I must admit it was a challenge taking the photos because the place we were in was very dark, and while I had a flash, when I was trying to focus, I had to rely on my eyesight, which isn't great.

I have trouble focusing because I use manual focus lenses, plus my camera isn't the newest.

Even so, I got some good photos, a few a little out of focus, but I like them.

Los retratos preparados no son mi estilo. De hecho, no suelo utilizar luz artificial ni nada por el estilo, pero a veces toca hacerlos y, cuantas más habilidades aprenda, más integral seré.

Un amigo me pidió hacer unos retratos porque participará en un festival de música y le están pidiendo una “foto decente”.

Improvisamos un poco porque las hicimos en su casa y, dicho por él mismo, su casa es “horrible”. Sin embargo, encontramos un rincón ideal para las fotos.

Me llevé un flash, un difusor y, por supuesto, mi cámara.

Probamos varias poses, buscando la luz ideal y también el perfil.

Él tiene unas expresiones particulares y quise resaltarlas.

Debo admitir que fue un reto tomar las fotos porque el lugar donde estábamos era muy oscuro y, si bien tenía un flash, cuando buscaba enfocar, debía confiar en mi vista, que no está muy bien.

Me cuesta enfocar porque uso lentes analógicos, además de que mi cámara no es la más nueva.

Aun así, conseguí buenas fotos, algunas un poco desenfocadas, pero me gustan.
