I recently started swimming lessons, and now water is part of my everyday life.

I like seeing its reflection. Also feeling its calm, and how refreshing it is.

It's very hot in the city where I live, but when I swim, the sensation is pleasant.

The beach, for example, is another incredible place, full of reflections and interesting compositions if you're a lover of nature photography.

Saltwater, "fresh" water, or pool water that's full of chlorine, gives me a perspective on the ripples and the texture of things.

It's a hugely important element, holding so much life for the human species as well as others in the world.

There are theories that in the not-so-distant future, resource wars will center on the control of water.

I don't know what to think about that, but I just say that it's important, and when it's so normalized (because it's part of our daily lives), we tend not to be amazed by it, even though it's so vital for life.

Recientemente inicié clases de natación y ahora el agua es parte de mi día a día.

Me gusta ver su reflejo. También sentir su calma, además de cómo refresca.

En la ciudad donde vivo hace mucho calor, pero cuando nado la sensación es agradable.

La playa, por ejemplo, es otro lugar increíble, lleno de reflejos y composiciones interesantes si eres amante de la fotografía de naturaleza.

El agua salada, “dulce”, o la de piscina que está llena de cloro, me da una perspectiva acerca de las ondas y la textura de las cosas.

Es un elemento importantísimo, que aguarda tanta vida tanto para la especie humana como para otras del mundo.

Hay teorías acerca de que en un futuro no tan remoto las guerras por los recursos se centrarán en el dominio del agua.

No sé qué opinar al respecto, pero solo digo que es importante, y cuando está tan normalizada (porque es parte de nuestro día a día), tendemos a no asombrarnos, pese a que sea tan vital para la vida.
