Macro photography: a universe of possibilities (ENG-ESP)
One of the things about exploring photography, like everything else in life, is that there is infinite diversity. It is true that documentary and urban photography is one of the most interesting categories for me, but I have discovered others with a particularly unique style.
In my photography course, we were instructed to take 10 macro photos, something that I don't think I had taken on my own initiative, but when I went deep into the bowels of El Casupo hill, in Valencia, Venezuela, I found endless lines and patterns in small things, which seem like a separate universe.
For example, the leaves, looking closely, seemed to have veins, or spider webs, with a galactic design. I also observed strange branches, hugging the trees, as if they did not want to let them escape.
All along the way I was amazed by the immensity of nature, especially when it is so close to the city, where sometimes we get lost in the routine.
It is there when we miss all the visual richness it offers us, in the little things, literally speaking.
I took these photos with a bridge camera, in macro mode, because I don't have a special lens, but I'm still proud of the result. In fact, it was quite an experience, because while I enjoyed the beauty, as a spectator, I kept doing it from the camera, which definitely allows you to really observe.
