Capturing Moments: My Lens, Their Spotlight (ENG-ESP)-Monomad challenge

I don't usually take posed photos, meaning traditional portraits. However, when the opportunity arises, I seize it, especially when people just naturally appear, rather than striking a pose.

I was photographing a festival, and many, upon seeing the camera, asked me to take their picture; others simply stared at the lens, waiting for the shot. This is because the festival, called Dancing Devils, is world-renowned. Therefore, everyone wants their moment in the spotlight.

No suelo hacer fotos donde la gente pose, es decir, el retrato tradicional. Sin embargo, cuando se presenta la oportunidad, la aprovecho, y más aún cuando las personas, más que posar, simplemente aparecen.

Estaba fotografiando una festividad, y muchos, al ver la cámara, me pedían que les tomara una foto; otros simplemente se quedaban mirando al lente, esperando la captura. Esto se debe a que la festividad, llamada Diablos Danzantes, es de carácter mundial. Por lo tanto, todos quieren su pedazo de protagonismo.

I don't work for any international media, nor do my photos have a global reach. So, I apologize for disappointing the people whose photos I took, but these portraits definitely stand on their own against others published by documentary photography outlets.

Yo no trabajo para ningún medio internacional, ni mis fotos tienen un alcance mundial. Así que lamento decepcionar a las personas a las que les tomé fotos, pero definitivamente estos retratos no tienen nada que envidiar a otros que aparecen en medios que publican fotos de carácter documental.
