YELLOW, YELLOW, YELLOW ...

Can you also see that yellow color everywhere now, covering our fields and meadows? I absolutely love this view! I had been waiting impatiently for spring, for those harsh and lifeless fields to finally turn into green and yellow carpets. And at last it happened! They are here! And as always they look absolutely beautiful and wonderful. 😍

The moment I noticed the first signs of blooming rapeseed fields, a smile immediately appeared on my face and I started paying much more attention to possible photo spots to capture at least a few frames. And to my pleasant surprise, while driving to a loading point in KÖLN, the rapeseed was blooming right next to the steel plant. Honestly, I could not have found a closer location than that! So after loading, I parked the truck nearby and went for a little photo session of this yellow wonder.

The photos I am showing you today come from the exact same location, but taken at different times of the day — before sunset and during sunset itself.

Personally I think rapeseed is quite difficult to photograph and I am still learning how to do it properly. One day I would love to create more unusual and original shots, but honestly, right now I still lack ideas. 😁 I think I simply do not have enough experience yet.😉 But rapeseed is not disappearing from our fields anytime soon, so maybe I will still have a chance to photograph it somewhere else, at a different time of day, with different objects in the background. I definitely want to repeat this session and perhaps create more macro-style shots next time.
