TRYING TO CAPTURE SPRING

Spring seems to have settled in for good. And thankfully so because I was really missing those warm days. Of course every season has its positive sides and each one offers us beautiful landscapes, but somehow everyone seems to look forward to spring a bit more. Me too. 😁
Recently after a full day of work, I went for a short walk with the hope that I would come across some signs of spring that I could photograph. And that’s exactly what happened. I came across an APPLE TREE.
The apple tree is, of course, one of the most common trees. It sometimes grows more “in the wild,” but in many places it is cultivated because of its tasty fruit. In theory every apple blossom has the potential to become an apple. In practice, however, the tree "knows" how many fruits it is able to support, which is why the excess flowers that were not properly pollinated or are simply weaker fall off.
Apple trees are cross-pollinated, which means that to set fruit they usually need pollen from a different variety of apple tree, not their own.
The apple tree often sheds some of its fruit already in May or June so that the remaining fruits can grow larger and fully ripen.

Thanks a lot my friend @jlinaresp ! Have a nice day!
Greetings 👋
You managed to catch some nice moments of spring and that's great. I'm glad you did. My goal is about the same as yours. I'm trying not to miss every moment of spring. People are probably waiting for spring the most because of a long cold winter does not bring us as much joy and positivity as the warm spring days that bring with them the blooming of tree flowers and the appearance of the first insects. It is truly beautiful. I am currently blogging about this thing. And here I completely agree with you that spring is a wonderful time of year. You have wonderful photos of apple blossoms. My apple trees have not even started to bloom yet. However, some of my cherry tries will soon have their blossoms and I will be happy to share these photos 📸
Really nice to read that! Thanks a lot for this valuable comment! Waiting for spring in your portfolio! ;)

I was completely captivated by this post. The way you capture the essence of spring—from the buds just beginning to show to the soft evening light over the field—is simply spectacular. I love how you managed to turn the apple tree, such a common tree, into the protagonist of a story full of calm and renewal. The photos, with their details and framing that feel like something out of a dream, convey that sense of pause and gratitude we all need after a long day. It's clear you have a special eye for finding beauty in the everyday, and that balance between natural knowledge and artistic sensitivity is much appreciated. Without a doubt, this is work that deserves to be seen and applauded. 🌸📸
