PAINTED SKIES OVER TORGAU
Today I’m bringing you another series of sunsets. While the photos were taken in different months, all of them were captured in the same place — a lakeside spot in Torgau in Germany. If you’ve been following me for a while, probably you recognize it already. It is one of my favorite locations to stop and soak in the calm after a long day on the road. Especially in the summer or in the springtime.
What fascinates me the most is how sunsets can be so different, even in the exact same place. One evening the sky might burst into deep orange fire, the next it might lean into delicate purples or dramatic blues. Each one is like nature’s own light show, always free, always breathtaking. You can look at it forever.
And even though I’ve seen thousends of sunsets, I never get tired of them. And you? I think they have this magical ability to slow down time, to bring silence into a noisy world and to remind us to simply look up and appreciate the present moment. Do you agree with me?
These frames are a part of that quiet, of that whispered beauty that the road sometimes gives you, if you’re just willing to stop and listen. Enjoy it!
