MONOMAD CHALLENGE – THE SILENT ARCHITECTURE OF NATURE

This is my entry for the Monomad Challenge.

During my walks I often stop to look at shapes that are easy to miss in everyday colors. When I switch to black and white, everything becomes clearer, more simple and more graphic. The first image (the cornfield) is a good example. In normal light it looks very ordinary, but in black and white it turns into sharp lines and clean silhouettes.

For this Monomad Challenge I decided to share a small series of photos based on the same idea. I like looking for natural shapes in places we usually don’t pay attention to — power lines, branches, reflections in a puddle, trees. Without color they look more organized and more intentional. This is what I enjoy the black and white photography. It makes the world look calmer and easier to understand.

Each photo was taken at a different time, but together they show one thing: even simple places have their own quiet rhythm, and you can see it better when the color is gone.
