GOLDEN HOUR OF PEACE

It has been a long time since I last shared photos from one of my regular break spots — Torgau. Lately I have been there a bit less often, but there was a time when I visited this place very regularly because we had many deliveries there. My dad even used to joke that I probably had my own summer house there. 😁 The number of deliveries in Torgau decreased and because of that my visits there became less regular as well.

Nevertheless every single time I stay there overnight, I still go to my favorite place by the lake. This week the qurator’s contest theme is “peaceful”, so I thought my sunset shots from Torgau would fit the topic perfectly. For me, this place always radiates an incredible sense of peace and harmony.

I really enjoy spending weekends there and going for an evening walk by the lake while admiring the beautiful sunsets every single time. It is a moment when I can slow down, sit on a bench and simply think for a while. A moment that reminds me that views like these are exactly why I love my job so much. 🙂
