Anoche recién me tropecé con la publicación referente al Concurso: Hive Images Contest - Show Us Your Photo Featuring the Hive Logo, y casualmente muy recientemente he estado trabajando en conjunto con un compañero para crear material de Hive. Tomé por supuestos algunas fotos, donde he usado el logo de Hive.

Estuvimos trabajando un diseño en digital sobre un pendón relacionado a Hive, se suponía que más tarde podríamos enviarle a imprimir y similar, para posteriormente llevarle presencialmente a la Expo Feria que tendrá lugar en Esteller, Portuguesa. Eso quedó por ahora en el pensamiento, porque al buscar presupuesto para ello estaba oscilando solo el pendón en 30$ y otros en 35$ y 50$. Por ahora, eso sale de nuestro presupuesto porque habían además otras cosas por hacer en cuanto a Merchandising. Optamos más bien por elaborar nuestro propio pendón de Hive siguiendo la línea del diseño original. Cortar y armar es una de mis cosas favoritas, así que nos pusimos manos a la obra.

El logo de Hive me hizo temblar, jaja. Lo he armado de manera manual, cortando piezas de Papel Contact. Unos ajustes por acá y otros por allá y he quedado feliz con el resultado. Fue bastante la demora, para hacerlo lo más parecido posible. No es igual a descargar digitalmente un logo del Activo de la Marca y colocarle en su sitio. En varias ocasiones tuve que volver a ajustar las medidas de las líneas para que fuesen lo más exactas posibles.

Last night I just stumbled upon the post regarding the Contest: Hive Images Contest - Show Us Your Photo Featuring the Hive Logo, and coincidentally very recently I've been working together with a partner to create Hive material. I took for granted some photos, where I have used the Hive logo.

We were working on a digital design on a banner related to Hive, it was supposed that later we could send it to print and similar, to later take it in person to the Expo Fair that will take place in Esteller, Portuguesa. That was left in thought for now, because when looking for a budget for it, only the banner was fluctuating at $30 and others at $35 and $50. For now, that comes out of our budget because there were also other things to do in terms of Merchandising. We opted instead to make our own Hive banner following the line of the original design. Cutting and assembling is one of my favorite things, so we got to work.

The Hive logo made me cringe haha. I have assembled it manually, cutting pieces of Contact Paper. Some adjustments here and others there and I have been happy with the result. It was quite the delay, to make it as similar as possible. It is not the same as digitally downloading a logo from the Brand Asset and placing it on your site. On several occasions I had to readjust the measurements of the lines to make them as accurate as possible.
