It's kind of ironic that your mother gave you these knives as a present, since she used to have those dull knives for years😂 I'm glad she did though, because it's always a joy when you use these knives to cook Indonesian food ^^.

Oh yeah, I totally forgot to mention that they got the same knives as well now! I was surprised they actually got new knives, but was pretty happy that they did :P
