SPOTTED DOVEs

Good day y'all , just sharing something other than my usual stuff. Have fun reading.

Was having my afternoon tea while feeding some doves, from a distance I saw 2 bird figures nearby which caught my attention cause their sizes were bigger than the usual birds I feed everyday. A rare visit by these birds, struck my curiosity of what it is.. ( whether can it be eaten 😏)

My usual visitors were zebra doves who comes around in the afternoon along with it's gangs. But today these 2 suddenly pop over and muscle their way through the feeding ground I prepared. Felt like from the movie scenes of Asian Mobs deploying 2 muscle brutes to grab a fully seated table.😂

Did some reading and searching about it. First site I went was HOW TO COOK DOVE MEAT. But then I realized, these doves could be endangered species type of birds 😲

So they are common to see, but why suddenly appeared? Just like the song . Lots of reason can be from food source, crowd gathering, navigation disruption . Whatever reason it maybe, I hope they won't start building nests around the house, otherwise that cook book may come in handy. Especially JALAPENO DOVE POPPERS sounds interesting.😌
