Sometimes Sublime Sunday is just Sitting
So this weekend for our Sublime Sunday Mother's Day, we are just hanging this morning. Sometimes it's just nice to hang out with no plans, no tasks, no to do's and just make a conscious decision to put everything aside for a few hours. We often sit on our back patio in the mornings for coffee, it's a great way to start the day.
Here's a little something for you flower loving Mom's.
This Hibiscus is amazing how it has grown and opened up. It's amazing to see these close up for the night and open up for the day.
This is a Bougainvillea plant we added a Trellis behind it, and then I built the supporting frame on wheels last weekend. It's still awaiting it's coat of paint to match. We did this so we can wheel it around to safer spot when the big Hurricane winds come.
This plant is unusual in that it has both white and red flowers.
Here's a little taller pic of the plant and trellis. The little vines have already grown over 2 feet in just a week or two and wrapping around the trellis nicely.
I am by no means a gardener, but we planted a lemon tree this year as well. This is supposedly some kind of special lemon tree designed to stay fairly small and remain in the pot.
And look, it has lemons!
I can hardly wait to try a fresh lemon from our own yard! Hard to believe this little tree has over 20 lemons on it!
Here's the view from my bird cage coffee chair with the miniature palm trees across the pool. What a great way to start the day, or finish it!
We moved here just over a year ago, and yes we are still loving it.
Enjoy your Mother's Day!
Wow the place is thriving and stunning indeed, envying the lemon tree in there :)
Also got a branch here this year, it has some mini mini mini fruits on there but I guess it will do better business next year after some decent growing this year
Happy mothersday there, chillmode seems well deserved!
Thanks, All the plants seem very happy here, we did discover they all seem to like water early every morning to help prepare them for the days heat.
These lemons started as little tiny pencil erasers, at first couldn't tell if they were buds for the flowers or what, but easy now that they are about 25% grown.
Is this your pool? Very very nice and clean
Lemons just don't need to go below 0 and it's fine
Yes, thanks, I like a clean pool. This was actually a topic of discussion for us a while back. All these plants and flowers inside the bird cage end up creating quite a mess of dropped flowers, leaves and such. I initially wanted them moved out, but we compromised with a new battery powered automatic pool cleaner. You can actually see it up in the top corner of the pool if you zoom in. Maybe I'll make a post on that. It does a Fantastic job.
That's good points, flowers and leaves leave a mess in the pool, automatic pool cleaner sounds a good deal
It is true, it is often nice to spend some time, even a few hours doing nothing, just sitting and contemplating a specially created space, like the one you show us in the photographs. It can also be having a coffee or chatting with someone we love. There are many variants.
That garden looks very special and worth to be enjoyed, I'm glad you like the place you have moved to, enjoy it. And on this Mother's Day, happy Mother's Day to all of them.
I have picked this post on behalf of the @OurPick project! Check out our Reading Suggestions posts!

Thanks for you comment and pick! Yes, I am amazed how relaxing and recharging it is to sit out there and chill for even just a few minutes in the morning or after a busy day at work. It's great to just take a few steps and be transported.
The mind rests and everything is much better afterwards. We have to give those spaces to our mind and soul, thanks to you always.
Weekend free time is still fun to be in the green environment.
The flowers are very beautiful :)
This looks so peaceful! Flowers really do lift the mood and I Love this , nothing like being surrounded by beauty
It was certainly a peaceful morning. It's very relaxing to sit and chill with them.
