Phone Bird pics of Egret

While I didn't feel these qualify for the weekly SMAP big bird contest theme this week, I still wanted to post.

There are certainly a lot more big birds here in Florida than I've ever seen anywhere else we've lived.

It was definitely a new experience for me to see birds walking around the neighborhood that can almost look you in the eye! This example was about shoulder high when it stretched it's neck up.

A great opportunity while I was out walking the dog and spotted this Egret across the street just walking around plucking up lizards and bugs.

No big camera today, just shot with Pixel 9 Fold phone.
Still a great memory and got some video of it too.

It must be wonderful to go out for a walk with the dog and come across these beautiful specimens.

Where I live, we can't get close to them without them taking flight.
