This piece is dedicated to the “Eégún” (masquerade) whose essence is the visible manifestation of the spirits of departed ancestors who periodically revisit the human community for remembrance, celebration, and blessings.

The piece aims at creating a vivid interpretation as well as changing the wrong narrative and impression that we the new generation who are expected to carry the true essence of our culture and to preserve our traditions and beliefs have painted all in the name of social media and content creation.
