His eyes, slightly turned, speak of vigilance, hardship, and an unspoken history. The rough hatching and tonal contrasts mirror a life lived outdoors, close to the earth. This drawing honors quiet strength—those who keep watch, labor in silence, and carry generations forward with nothing but grit and grace.
