Sharing and enjoying the New Year with my family (Eng-Esp)

• Good evening, dear friends. I wish you a Happy New Year. May ALL your wishes come true!
  Today, I took off my apron and decided to share with you some photos of our New Year's Eve celebration. I should tell you that I have a very large family, but due to circumstances in life, most of them live outside Venezuela. Now I can count on my fingers how many of us are left living in my city. Despite the distance, we always keep in touch through phone calls, but the truth is that it's not the same, because we always miss the hugs and closeness. However, I must admit that I feel infinitely grateful to the Universe because I have my closest family circle by my side, and this is an invaluable blessing, as I can share and enjoy life to the fullest with my children and my mom. For me, this is the greatest gift and the only reason I feel immensely happy!

• We invited a cousin who lives near our house to the gathering. She is a very cheerful and fun person. I love people with a good sense of humor, and she has it, even though she looks a little grumpy in the photo, ha ha ha! Our adorable pets were a little scared by the sound of the fireworks, but nothing that a little cuddle couldn't fix.

• Buenas noches queridos amigos, les deseo un Feliz Año Nuevo, que TODOS sus deseos se conviertan en una hermosa realidad!
  Hoy, me quité el delantal y decidí compartir con ustedes algunas fotos de lo que fue nuestra celebración de Fin de Año. Les cuento que mi familia es muy numerosa, pero por circunstancias de la vida la mayoría viven fuera de Venezuela, ahora puedo contar con los dedos cuantos quedamos viviendo en mi cuidad, a pesar de la distancia siempre mantenemos el contacto a través de llamadas, pero la verdad que no es lo mismo, porque siempre hacen falta los abrazos y la cercanía, aunque debo reconocer que me siento infinitamente agradecida al Universo, porque tengo a mi lado el círculo familiar más cercano y esto es una bendición invaluable, ya que puedo compartir y disfrutar a plenitud con mis hijos y mi mamá, para mi este es el mayor de los regalo y es el único motivo por el que me siento inmensamente feliz!

• Para la reunión invitamos a una prima que vive cerca de nuestra casa, ella es una persona super alegre y divertida, adoro las personas con buen sentido del humor y ella lo tiene, aunque salió en la foto con una expresión de amargada jajaja! Nuestras adorables mascotas estuvieron un poco temerosas por el sonido de los fuegos artificiales, pero nada que con una caricia no se haya podido solucionar.

• This year I decided to cook simple but tasty dishes... For drinks, I chose ponche crema. Although it's a very sweet drink, it's only once a year and it tastes delicious. Adding lots of ice reduces the sweetness a little. We enjoyed a night of laughter, good stories, and a wide variety of music... We danced and sang until dawn. The truth is that sharing with family is the greatest gift, and if there is harmony, love, and empathy, the evening becomes the best experience of life!

• Este año decidí cocinar platos sencillos, pero sabrosos... para tomar escogí ponche crema, aunque es una bebida muy dulce, es una vez al año y su sabor es muy delicioso, con abundante hielo baja un poquito el dulzor. Disfrutamos de una noche de risas, buenas anécdotas y música muy variada... Bailamos y cantamos hasta la madrugada, la verdad que compartir en familia es el mayor de los regalos, y si existe armonía, amor y empatía la velada se convierte en la mejor experiencia de vida!
