(ENG-ESP) My celebration with my family and friends looking forward to the New Year

• Good evening dear friends, I wish you all a wonderful 2024, may all your wishes come true.... Next, I share with you how was my celebration of the last day of the year. That day we had planned to wake up VERY early to finish all the preparations, but the night before we had gone to bed at dawn, sharing and celebrating the Christmas days, the truth is that since December began we always try to make our days something "unique and special", I can assure you that we succeeded, I believe that happiness does not go hand in hand with great celebrations, but with the good relationship and empathy of the people who accompany you to celebrate or share. In the past our family was very large, but many left the country and others are no longer on this earthly plane, we are few, but I feel very blessed and fortunate, as we have the good fortune to have a bond where love predominates.

• On December 31 when we were all ready to celebrate the arrival of the New Year, we started taking some pictures, while each one asked for her favorite song, my mom asked for a sad song by Marco Antonio Solis, but we convinced her that that night was an occasion only to dance and celebrate, at first she did not take it with pleasure, but she forgot the sadness when we proposed her to play a game of dominoes hahaha.

• That night there was no delivery of gifts, but we made several improvised raffles of some very beautiful details, each one enjoyed her favorite drink, my mom enjoyed her whiskey and soda, I tried some beers, only two small shots of red wine, because sometimes my blood pressure rises and I preferred to avoid any discomfort, I ended up sharing with my mom a few shots of the whiskey that I had given her. When the clock struck 12 o'clock at night, we all gave each other a big hug to welcome the arrival of the New Year, and after celebrating this great moment with laughter, we warmed up for dinner. Of course it was a typical Christmas dinner, hallacas, Christmas rolls and chicken salad. We fell asleep almost when the sun was about to rise, before sleeping I made my first meditation of 2024, thanking in advance for all the good moments that I am willing to receive, I also said goodbye to the old year thanking the teachings and reflections that through each day of its calendar I learned... Life is a constant learning, this is the best life lesson of this beautiful journey!

• Buenas noches queridos amigos, les deseo a todos un maravilloso 2024, que todos sus deseos se conviertan en realidad... A continuación, comparto con ustedes como fue mi celebración del último día del año. Ese día teníamos planificado despertar MUY temprano para terminar de realizar todos los preparativos, pero la noche anterior nos habíamos acostado de madrugada, compartiendo y celebrando de los días navideños, la verdad que desde que empezó diciembre siempre tratamos de hacer de nuestros días algo "único y especial", puedo asegurar que lo conseguimos, considero que la felicidad no va de la mano con grandes celebraciones, sino con la buena relación y empatía de las personas que te acompañan para celebrar o compartir. En un pasado nuestra familia era muy numerosa, pero muchos se fueron del país y otros ya no están en éste plano terrenal, quedamos pocos, pero me siento muy bendecida y afortunada, ya que tenemos la buena suerte de tener un vínculo en donde predomina el amor.

• El 31 de diciembre cuando todas estábamos listas para celebrar la llegada del Nuevo Año, empezamos tomando algunas fotos, mientras cada una pedía su canción favorita, a mi mamá se le ocurrió pedir una canción un poco triste de Marco Antonio Solis, pero la convencimos de que esa noche era una ocasión solamente para bailar y festejar, al principio no lo tomó con agrado, pero se le olvidó la tristeza cuando le propusimos jugar un apartida de dominó jajaja

• Esa noche no hubo entrega de regalos, pero hicimos varias rifas improvisadas de algunos detalles muy hermosos, cada una disfrutó de su bebida favorita, mi mamá disfrutó de su wiski con soda, yo probé algunas cervezas, solamente dos tragos pequeños de vino tinto, ya que a veces me sube la tensión y preferí evitar algún malestar, terminé compartiendo con mi mamá unos traguitos del wiski que le había regalado. Cuando el reloj marcó las 12 de la noche, todas nos dimos un gran abrazo para recibir la llegada del Nuevo Año, luego de festejar con risas ese gran momento, calentamos nuestra cena. Por supuesto que fue una cena típica navideña, las hallacas, los bollitos navideños y la ensalada de gallina. Nos dormimos casi cuando el sol estaba a punto de salir, antes de dormir realicé mi primera meditación del 2024, agradeciendo de antemano por todos los buenos momentos que estoy dispuesta a recibir, también despedí el viejo año agradeciendo las enseñanzas y reflexiones que a través de cada día de su calendario aprendí... La vida es un constante aprendizaje, ésta es la mejor lección de vida de éste hermoso viaje!
