Birthday DIY Photoshoot For My Son Kristof's Third Birthday

Birthdays are one of the most important celebration in our lives especially to kids. My son celebrates his third birthday this year and every year I always do a very simple and diy photoshoot for him.

I bought him a 3rd birthday shirt at the orange app also his king crown and number three balloon. I use his school supplies as a design as well as his dinosaur bag. And this is the setup using our blankets, old happy birthday banner which was first used last March during my husband's birthday and the boxes and drawers for the display and for his seat.

Then we started the first set where he just simply sit on the box and made a post. It's very difficult to make him smile. He is not used to sitting because he is always loitering around. And actually his father was at my back to make him laugh or smile and I'm the one taking the pictures.

I could say this is the most difficult set. I have to told him many many times to show the number three properly and I had little shots for this.

Stolen shots are perfect for this school supplies act. He likes this very much. Everytime there is art activities at school he always participates and he's so behave during this set.

And this is the last shot, a standing shot because he always complain sitting on the box.
Shots are not perfect but it was the best for me. Knowing he is just three years old and he is cooperative.
I advance the birthday shoot a week ago because that was the only time my husband has a day off and we don't have class at school. It's tiring but it was successful. My next blog would be how we celebrate his birthday. Stay tuned!
