Wat Pa Phum Ratanahiran, Mae Ai District, Chiang Mai, Thailand : The temple among nature.

Hello everyone.😊 This post, I will take everyone to see another temple in Chiang Mai, Thailand. My wife and I go to Mae Ai District again. There are many temples in this district that we have not yet visited. And there is one interesting temple, which is located in the among of nature. This temple is called Wat Pa Phum Ratanahiran (Phra That Chao Chom Thai). This temple is a newly built temple. Construction of the temple began in AD 2010 or 14 years ago. This trip my wife and I traveled to the temple last month.

Our journey to the temple.
This temple is about 70 kilometers from our house. This trip to the temple I drove a Mitsubishi, Pajero Sport. I think it is a great and safe 7-seat SUV. First we must travel on highway 107 to get to Mae Ai District.

When we arrived at Mae Ai District. Then we traveled on the rural road and the road winds over the plateau. We see hill tribe villages, yunnan chinese villages and farms.

Then we have to pass Tai Lue village. Before reaching this temple.

When my wife and I arrived at the temple. We saw the temple's sign and two small white elephant statues first. The temple's sign is made of simple wood.

Then travel another 200 meters. You will see the entrance to the temple. This area has a wooden entrance arch. Decorated with Chinese hanging lanterns. And on the arch there is a tierred umbrella too.

The atmosphere in the temple.

When we entered the temple. This temple does not have the buddha image hall (viharn) and ordination hall (ubosot). We see a large pavilion first. This pavilion is the mix of thai buddhism and chinese. At first I see this large pavilion, I think this pavilion was a buddha image hall (viharn).

In addition, around the large pavilion there are many various statues.

Inside the pavilion there are many small buddha images, small statues and paintings. Of course we enjoyed the beautiful of these buddha images, statues and paintings.

And behind the large pavilion is an outdoor courtyard. This outdoor courtyard has large statues of angels and giants. These sculptures look beautiful and outstanding.

Large garden in a beautiful temple.

Behind the temple is a large garden. There are several entrances to the garden. Within the garden there are many trees and flowers. Additionally, there are many small pavilions. We spent about 1 hour walking around and sitting in this garden. It's enjoy and relax.

One of the entrances to the garden, This entrance to the garden has entrance arch.

Another arch to the garden entrance.

The some atmosphere in the garden.

An interesting highlight in this garden is the view of the Kok River. (Main and important river of Mae Ai District) and nature in that area.

The pagoda of this temple is on the mountain. Journey to the pagoda. I had to drive on the road winds over the plateau to get to the top of the mountain.

The pagoda and area are under construction. There are many buddha statues being built as well. If this pagoda is completed. I think this pagoda is a great pagoda and outstanding on the mountain.

On this mountain you can also view fram a mountain lookout.

Finally, when we go out temple. We can also see nature views and the Kok River while traveling.

These are the stories and photos of Wat Pa Phum Ratanahiran I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to see and enjoy my stories and photos. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗

Happy wife , happy life! Is she your wife? She looks so happy in the picture. It would also be my reaction if I were to travel in this kind of place. The statues and architectures are unique that seems to remind the tourist of its history and religion, plus, the beautiful garden and a nature that brings an enlivening air to anyone that visits.
