Wat huay pla kang temple, mueang district, chiang rai province, thailand.
Hello everyone. In this post, I will share another attraction that we visited for our trip to chiang rai province last sunday. Last Sunday's attraction that I shared for this post is a beautiful temple, this temple is called wat huay pla kang.
Wat huay pla kang is located in rim kok subdistrict, mueang district, chiang rai province, thailand. Wat huay pla kang temple is close to wat rong suea ten, which I shared 2 days ago.
If friends have a chance to visit mueang district, chiang rai province, I recommend 3 temples that are close to each other : wat rong khun, wat rong suea ten and wat huai pla kang that I share this post. All 3 temples have beautiful architecture and sculptures. I think friends will surely like the beautiful of all 3 temples.
When friends arrive at the wat huay pla kang. Friends will see a tall brown wall and a tall white goddess of mercy (Guan Yin) before entering the temple. I think this is the first highlight of this temple.
When walking inside the temple, you can walk inside this white goddess of mercy (Guan Yin) and take the elevator to the 25th floor. To see the beauty of the white sculpture inside this goddess of mercy.
In addition, the second highlight of wat huay pla kang is the beautiful 9-storey pagoda. Which is similar to chinese art architecture. Within each floor of this pagoda, there are many sculptures of gods and buddha statue made of wood and other materials. All sculptures are very beautiful and I like and enjoy.
Brief history of the temple In the past, this area used to be an abandoned temple which was a ruin before it was restored around A.D. 2005 onwards. And later in the year A.D. 2009, this temple was allowed to be established as a temple until now.
This is the story and photos of wat huay pla kang temple that I want to share with my friends for this post. Invite friends to watch and enjoy my stories and photos. Have a great day. See you again. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗
