Visit Wat San Pu Loei , enjoy the architecture, sculptures and nature in the temple.

Hello everyone. Last month, me and my wife had the opportunity to go to Wat San Pu Loei again. We accidentally went to this temple and without planning. Because we went to run errands at the old house where me and my family used to live. When we finish our run errands, we have free time. So we went to this temple which was not far away. This temple is a temple in the rural community of San Pa Daeng Village in Fang District, Chiang Mai Province.

The distance from the highway 107 along the rural road 3004 to this temple is approximately 5.4 kilometers. We had to pass through two rural villages to reach this temple. That is Mae Sun Luang Village and San Pa Daeng Village. The majority of people in both villages are farmers. The atmosphere is mostly on rural road 3004 is shady and quiet with green areas and houses.

We can clearly see the name sign of Wat San Pu Loei on the side of a rural road. When we arrived at this temple.

The thing that impressed me and my wife inside this temple is the buddha image hall (viharn) and Thai architecture, which is a square hall with a pyramidal roof (mondop).

The small buddha image hall (viharn) of this temple is built from bricks with cement and painted white with decorated with color gold Lanna style stucco patterns. And the stairs to the entrance to the buddha image hall (viharn) are serpent-shaped stairs.

The temple's a square hall with a pyramidal roof (mondop) is beautiful and unique. The decorated with color gold stucco patterns in Lanna style as well. And the top of the roof resemble Thai castles.
Entrance stairs in this square hall with a pyramidal roof (mondop) have 3 entrance. The main entrance staircase is in the shape of the color gold serpent. But the entrance stairs at the other two entrances are in the shape of the color gold serpent's tail.

Inside this square hall with a pyramidal roof (mondop) with a Buddha image and color gold pattern behind this buddha image.

Me and my wife like the pagoda of this temple as well. I think the pagoda of this temple has a beautiful shape and is different from other temples.
The foundation is square in shape with 3 floors. The first floor is painted white. The 2nd floor is decorated with many buddha statues. The 3rd floor is decorated with thai zodiac patterns.
The middle of the pagoda is a polygonal shape with decorated with color gold and red patterns. And there is the color gold buddha image on 4 sides. And the top of the pagoda is shaped like a color gold bell.

The medium sized wooden pavilion inside the temple is another interesting. Me and my wife were able to sit, relax and enjoy the view. This temple is located on a low hill. We can see the view from this pavilion. Additionally, we can enjoy the view from other areas as well.

Inside the temple, there are also buddha statues and other statues for us to see.

Another highlight of this temple is the building which houses an art and artist museum. And there are many thai artists have stamp their palms on the floor of this building too. Unfortunately, that day this building was not open for people to enter inside.

In addition to the beautiful architecture and sculptures, we also enjoy the quiet and shady natural atmosphere. This temple is another temple that I want to recommend to everyone.
